Creating geodesic features - is it possible to control the spacing of vertices?

Hi,

I have started experimenting with drawing geodesic features using the new functionality contained in the editing toolbar in ArcGIS 2010.

The geodesic tool creates densified polylines representing the geodesic between two points. The tool automatically calculates the spacing of vertices along the polyline for each geodesic feature it creates.

I would really like to be able to control the spacing of vertices along the created feature (eg. i would like a vertex every 5NM along every geodesic that I create).

Is this possible using the editing tool?

I have the same requirement as Lola and would also like to control the spacing of vertices along the geodesic line.

I can't seem to figure out how this is done using the editing tools.

Is this possible in ArcGIS 10?
