I used to input my .prvc license file into the ArcSDE post installation wizard which would register it and create the file. Now that the post installation wizard is gone in 10.1, how do I turn my .prvc file into the keycodes file to use the Create Enterprise Geodatabase tool?
Execute the Software Authorization wizard under Start > Programs > ArcGIS. Browse to your .prvc file and then complete the wizard. This will populate the keycodes file for you.

I do not see that in the start menu ArcGIS folder but I located the SoftwareAuthorization.exe under "C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\ArcGIS\bin" after searching the hard drive.
