Hey friends,
I have a problem, as I stated above I'm looking to move a big group of points to be over top of another group of points that already exist. It sounds easy enough, but there are a few catches:
1. I cannot duplicate the points and replace the data.
2. I only want to move some of the points, based on a matching field.
3. There are too many points to manually move them.
Some work arounds I'm not sure how to do, or even exist would be:
Copying the X and y coordinates for the static points, and through tabular joins important the x and y fields into the points I want moved. But would applying x and y fields force points to move?
Another would be to some how snap the points I want moved to the static points. would SnapAgent work for this?
Last would be using model builder to add a x an y or move the points.
