I am having difficulty editing maps created in ArcGIS 10. I am looking to place points an lines on a map. When I start editing the point and line buttons are greyed out and do not allow me to access them. Any thoughts?
A couple ideas. You may have tried them already, but you don't say what you've tried already.
You may have to turn on an editor extension under Tools>Extensions. Is the feature to be edited a point or line? Do you have the editor tool turned on?
