Hello,
I can create views on feature classes using sdetable -o create_view without any troubles.
However, I don't know how to use domains rather than values in the view.
Is there a way when creating a view on a feature class to have the attribute values display the domain text representations rather than integer codes ?
Connecting directly to the feature class in ArcMap, I see the field aliases and domain values; in the view I see codes instead.
I try to apply the domains to the view after creating it, which seems working.
Is it a good idea ?
Is it be supported by ESRI ?
