ARCMAP - TRANSFORMATION ACCURACY

Hello,

I am using ArcMap 10.4.1, reviewing Datum Transformation Tables.

When it is said that accuracy for a given Transformation is 1m or 100m, is this unit of accuracy referring to accuracy along the XYZ axis when computing XYZ or does it mean that the end result XYZ position falls anywhere within a radial area of 1m ?

The values are an estimate of the output coordinate's accuracy, but anything 1 m or greater is just that--an estimate.
