Address locator torubles

I am fairly new to GIS and I am slowly geocoding thousands of addresses (in Arcgis 10).  I have not had many problems yet but when I strated up again today I received this error message: "The address locator is damaged.  Would you like to repair it? Access to this resource is forbidden, regardless of authorization."  I am very confused and frustrated.  Does anyone have an answer?

I ran into this issue too and ESRI recommended that you store you locators outside of the geodatabase.
