Hello,
I am working with a raster dataset in GCS WGS84 at resolution 0.0083333 dec. degrees - I want to project this to a projected CS so I am using a UTM projection tailored to my area of interest. I am setting the cell size to 1000x1000 metres- I assumed as the cell size was approximately the same it would produce a similar raster, but as you can see from the pictures attached cells have been left out/ added in (projected raster is blue and GCS is pink). I'm wondering if there is a way to preserve the shape of the raster when projecting it? Thank you

Unfortunately any reprojection from one coord sys to another with raster data will involve some resampling of the data.
