Hello ESRI Community,

Our conservation tech nonprofit is building a React Native-based platform that will be utilizing mapping from ESRI. Our developers do not have experience using the tools provided by ESRI but we are excited to put them in because of the incredible potential they could be used for. That being said I was hoping we could find someone who is passionate about conservation and ESRI tools who would be interested in helping explain some of the basics and answer some questions our development team may have.

Thank you,

Megan

Hi Megan, have you or your dev team had the chance to poke around on developers.arcgis.com?  There is already some material there on working with the ArcGIS API for Javascript, using REACT js library, for example: https://developers.arcgis.com/javascript/latest/sample-code/widgets-frameworks-react/   I have more experience with the ArcGIS Experience Builder, which is another part of our app development platform like in this example of a website devoted to Tribal GIS: https://experience.arcgis.com/experience/e614640e3967462f88016aaeb09691cf/page/page_25/

If you have more specific questions I can do my best to help you find help.  The upcoming Esri Virtual User Conference this July will be your best chance for your developers to have some face time with the Esri Javascript folks, it's just a matter of figuring out who and what technical workshops would best help you.
