Hello, I have state sales data that I would like to heat map. These data are point locations of retailers with a sales figure. I want to use the point density tool to set a fixed radius 20 miles (area) where sales data will be distributed. My sales data is only for the state of Minnesota. I am coming across an issue density mapping sales occurring near the state border. Some of the density data are falling outside of the state. I want all of these data to stay in Minnesota. I tried to use a mask, but this ‘cuts’ off out of state data. Is there a way to contain all density data in the state? So, sales on the border would be denser.
