If I use content in a post that the system doesn't like, such as pasting content from Stack Overflow:
Hello world!
...then when I hit submit, the system won't submit it right away, but give me a warning message asking if I want to proceed with the automatically modified content.
In the past, I've lost posts/comments because of that quirk. I wasn't paying attention and didn't realize that the post wasn't submitted, so I navigated away from the page thinking everything was fine. Meanwhile, there was a message that I didn't see that needed to be dealt with.
When I do notice that message, I always just hit proceed anyway, without thinking twice. So to me, that step doesn't really have value. Regardless, whatever HTML changes have been made...aren't visible in the result...you can't see/notice what changed. So it's not a very useful step.
Idea: Could the "do you want to proceed" step just be eliminated?
That would be a lot more convenient and avoid me accidently not submitting posts.
Thank you for the idea Bud. I will review with the vendor and get back to you. Thank you Simi
Hi Bud, We checked with our vendor and after reviewing the issue, we found that it uses a text key.
We can edit the text key's contents, but it might be more confusing since the page will refresh but will not display any error message, and the poster will be more confused if there is no error message.
Also, this component is used for other errors as well. So, after reviewing, removing the component might not be the best option at this point. since it will create more confusion.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
Thanks
Simi
