Connecting members in the community is a way to build a network or list of interesting contributors, colleagues, or peers in the Esri Community.
To Connect with members:
- Sign in to the community.
- Click the username of a member to go to the member's Profile page
- Click Connect.
To Disconnect with members:
- Sign in to the community.
- Click the username of a member to go to the member's Profile page
- Click Disconnect.
What happens when a member Connects with me?
Depending on your privacy settings, the members that are connected to you can see your biography, other personal information, or online status. If you send private messages, you can choose people from your list of connections instead of typing their usernames. Additionally, you can click Block User to prevent specific community members from contacting you.
