As the owner of several large open groups where anyone is encouraged to create their own content, I have encountered an issue on multiple occasions where someone has created a post and clicked the Submit For Review button expecting me to review it and officially approve it. But this button does not generate any sort of notification, so the post will sit in there for weeks or months before I happen to find it while writing something myself or get contacted by the author.

The Submit For Review Button should generate a notification to the Group Owners, so they can actually review and post the article.

Thanks for touching on this, Jeffrey. It is a shortcoming that we're aware of and a feature update we know others would like to see as well. We have some new UI/UX coming in the Community platform upgrade on track to happen in the latter half of 2025. We can reconnect after that update if there isn't a good solution made available to look at this again.

@Bud, Due to unforeseeable changes in the platform environment, we made the decision to pause on the planned update to the Aurora version of our Community platform. Just a s a reference, our team published an update about this here: Changes to the Aurora Update. This pause has had an impact on short term UX/UI updates, like the possibility of introducing notifications for articles waiting on review, but we're continuing to work on long term solutions that best support the needs of our members.
