I couldn’t figure out how to display community members I’m following or followers?

if you are connected with any other members you will see it in the Following section of your profile

Did you refollow your friends?  Did they connect to you?

Followers weren't carried over. 

People have to re-follow you in order for their names to appear.

Apparently no one is following you now.

Do you mean that the database related to followers in Geonet is not migrated to the Community?
