Geonet: How to identify the version (release) of the Geonet?
I couldn’t figure out how to identify the version (release) of the Geonet
Solved! Go to Solution.
Dan is correct there are no versions of the Esri Community and planned enhancements will be communicated and status completion in the document Known Issues and Future Enhancements which if you are interested in tracking updates will notify you if you subscribe to it.
There are no plans to have release versions of the Community as soon as we have a bug fix or enhancement we will release it to the live site and provide an update in the above document or in the case of more substantial change we will create a blog and post about it in Community Blog - Esri Community .
It is now the Esri Community
What is the Esri Community? - Esri Community
So GeoNet is no more, technically and the last one was about the 4th incarnation of a user platform
Thanks
Does this new esri community have a release or version number such that as it’s enhanced then new number is generated?
I will say no. Since the Community is for all products and when the Community implements something, it is announced in the Community Blog
Community Update - January - Esri Community for example
But it would be much more helpful to know where we are! The enhancements need to be related to particular version.
Just a suggestion
I am good with the way it is.
Preferences.
How about the way they label other software sometimes.... the
Esri Community... Inception version 😁
