Create a list in a quote block

There are scenarios where creating a list in a quote block doesn't seem to work.

For example, I wanted to put the content in this old post in a quote block. But it doesn't seem to work properly. The list items get double-spaced and the grey bar gets broken up between items.

Why is that happening?

Hi @Bud and thanks for the video. When it comes to the extended spacing that you're seeing, our team is already in touch with our platform vendor to determine whether there are ways to more finely control the automated white space around certain elements. The platform has it's own built-it formatting, as you're likely to have seen get added around images, heading text, and code snippets. We're waiting to learn more about potential options there. 

When it comes to the Quote Block breaks between each numbered item, I can see in the HTML that a new Quote Block is getting added individually to each numbered line rather than treating them together as a single quote. I'm not certain as to whether this is expected behavior or not and am looping @SimiBasu in for further investigation.
