Tools & Tips: Verify Your Account
Esri Community’s Tools & Tips series provides a power-packed serving of “How-To” every month. These micro-sized guides make it easy to level up your platform knowledge and get more out of Esri Community.
The value: Unverified Esri Community accounts miss out on the subscription feature, which allows users to receive notifications of new activity on Places, Boards, and Posts of interest.
How to do it: Account verification is prompted via an automated welcome message shortly after a member first sets up their Esri Community account; however, that step can be unintentionally missed. To correct this, you may attempt to locate that original email (Subject line: “Welcome to the Esri Community”) and use the provided link to verify your account. If the link no longer works or if you’d prefer assistance, please email a request for help to esricommunity@esri.com and provide a URL to your Esri Community profile. The Esri Community team will gladly complete this step on your behalf.

Keep in mind: Once your account is verified and the subscription feature is made available, you will automatically be subscribed to posts you participate in by default. You can also manually subscribe to content of interest, and have the ability to manage your subscriptions and manage the way(s) you receive notifications.
