During Q3 we welcomed new community members, which increased our total members 308. We’re excited to see new members join throughout the year and get connected in the Member Introductions board. If you’re new and haven’t posted here yet, we invite you to drop in and say “hi!,” and tell us what you’re working on. We’d love to hear from you!
During the third quarter we saw an average of 51,200 member logins each month. Community members submitted 684 ideas across the ArcGIS Ideas Exchanges, and Esri Community received 2.1M million visits, with 64% coming from visitors outside of the United States.
For 2022 Q3, across the entire community we had more than 4,700 new questions asked, with 33% marked as Accepted Solutions, 41% answered by Esri staff and 20% by community MVPs, who account for 1.32% of all Community members

We’re excited to share a new monthly series of member spotlights featuring customers from the Esri Community—the people playing a role in finding solutions, sharing ideas, and collaborating to solve problems with GIS. We’re doing this to recognize amazing user contributions, to example how Esri Community’s purpose is being brought to life, and to bring depth to this group of incredible people who may never meet in person, but who benefit from each other’s generous expertise.
Josh is a GIS Analyst for Kendall County, Illinois. In 2021, he earned the role of MVP in Esri Community and won the Elite Level of competition in our Esri Community contest. Our team had the opportunity to interview him in July at User Conference 2022.
Luiza is a Senior Digital Innovation Analyst at Arcadis. Our team had the opportunity to meet up with her in the Map Gallery at UC 2022 to learn about "Housing Match," a map she and five colleagues created to facilitate the creation of new housing units for the homeless in São Paulo, and to talk about how Esri Community is playing a role in her work.
This wraps up our 2022 Q3 report. Thanks again for your time and support in building relationships and adding value for our customers in Esri Community!
