Updating maps from a free account?

Once I embed a story map created with a free ArcGIS Online account, within a website, is it possible to keep updating the story map within the same free account? Are there any costs associated at some point? (for instance, due to traffic or capacity of data).

Yes you can continue updating your story map with the free public account. There are no costs associated with it. There is a 2 Gigabyte storage limit to a free public account, but it is unlikely that you'd exceed or reach that amount of storage with a public account. http://www.esri.com/software/arcgis/arcgisonline/features/public-account
