Is there a way to use URL parameters to display a custom extent of a Swipe story map?
For example, I'd like to use the story actions in the Map Journal side panel to navigate to different locations in an embedded Swipe story map, which is the main stage content. Ideally, I'd also like the pop-up for the point at each location to appear. While this is simple to do with a web map via the story action settings, I cannot find a way to do the same for an embedded story map. Setting URL parameters seems like the only option to customize the display.
Thanks!

Hi Caitlin,

It is not possible to add actions to other web apps, and the Swipe app does not support the necessary URL parameters to accomplish what you describe.  However, a possible solution would be to use the 'series' option in the Swipe/Spyglass app that allows you to add a series of tabs that each have their own description and extent.  An example can be seen here: http://carnegiemnh.maps.arcgis.com/apps/StorytellingSwipe/index.html?appid=658b76928bfe4b5f83e4db60b....

And if you were to go that route, I would recommend using the embed URL parameter to get rid of the header: http://carnegiemnh.maps.arcgis.com/apps/StorytellingSwipe/index.html?appid=658b76928bfe4b5f83e4db60b...
