Story map shortlist -- audio

Good morning --

is it possible to add audio to the description field of a story map shortlist item? I've seen the instructions for adding audio to a story map tour item, but when I add an HTML audio tag to the description in a story map shortlist item it simply gets printed as text. Thanks.

Hi Geoff,

You cannot add it directly in the builder, but Shortlist will respect valid audio HTML coming from existing data.  You can do this by building out something like a csv file or a feature service and creating a web map from that data, then building a Shortlist app from that web map.  Here is some additional info on that workflow: http://storymaps.arcgis.com/en/faq/#question49
