Hey there,

I'm hoping someone can shed some light on this. I'm a GIS nerd and science geek but amateur at best with HTML/CSS.

I've designed our organization's story map and we want to host it externally. I've edited a few properties and used firebug plugin on mozilla to help me out with this (WHAT A GOD SEND!).

It looks great in mozilla but when I test with chrome or other browsers everything is displaced. It seems like when I view in chrome I am instead getting the mobile site version.

Can anyone help me out with this?
Here is the website:

(Note: not sure if the pictures will show up externally quite yet)

Hi KPS4
I checked the web map you use in your story map to see if the data is shared correctly and that works OK for me
http://www.arcgis.com/home/webmap/viewer.html?webmap=2f6a34e2eb234203836d8079805bdb63
so I'm not sure yet why you are getting that message. Sorry about the problem.

I ended up solving this by starting over fresh in a separate directory, and using firebug to identify changes to the css I already made in the other directory. With each change, loaded and refreshed a page in IE, chrome and firefox. There are a few CSS and HTML elements that are not allowed in IE or Chrome which caused some discrepancies. Once I realized what the specific elements of CSS and HTML I was able to troubleshoot.

I also didn't touch the min.css files and instead all my css changes in the designated spot on the index.html.

This works perfect on IE11 & Firefox, does not work on Google Chrome though...

Can anyone at ESRI tell me why this is? I built the application straight from ArcOnline... Everything is hosted so I was unable to change anything directly to the config file or html index, I'm confused why it does not work on Chrome.

Please let me know, if you have a solution to this.

Thanks!
