Hi there,
I have a cascade story with an immersive section. I want to have the same view of a map change as the user scrolls down which turns on/off different layers. However, when I choose vertical transition there is a part of the scroll where everything disappears and only the basemap is shown between view A and view B that I have set up. This ruins the seamless affect and general looks a bit clunky. I'm not sure why it is doing this? If I save view A and view B as two separate maps the transition is fine, it only seems to be a problem when scrolling between different views of the same map.
I appreciate that is a bit confusing - what I'm trying to achieve is what the "Tree cover, biomass, and diversity" section of the below storymap acts like:

Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks
It looks like you can't use the smooth transitions for layer adjustments. That section looks like they exported their map as images that are perfectly aligned, just with different layers showing, and then uploaded the images as media.
