Bug in the spyglass story map template popups

I have a story map that uses the spyglass template.  This particular template populates popups in a window pinned to the right hand side of the map.  However I'm finding that when I zoom with a popup open the normal popup appears attached to the point as well and then will not close.  This is a new bug that I haven't noticed before in this map.  Any assistance would be much appreciated.  I've attached a screen capture  of the issue and the url to my map is:

Hi Kevin,

Sorry about that, that's a very unfortunate regression of our last release.

We are looking at it and will let you know this week if we get that patched in ArcGIS Online or if we have a workaround for you.
