I make a map. Add points of travel via Directions. Point A to B to C etc. Map has nice route highlighted and drawn on it. Save file. Go to Gallery, See the ma with highlighted route on it. Click on it and I get map of same area without routing on it. Read somewhere one can save to a layer. Don't see how to create a blank layer.
