rounded data frame

Hello,

I'm trying to create an inset as a rounded data frame within my main map.

I used 100% rounding for both my background and border to create a circular frame.

When I export the output map, there a square white border around my frame (attached image).

Is there any way to remove that?

which contains work-arounds as well... but the biggest recommend is to use ArcGIS Pro to do your printing and export to PDF or SVG and not Illustrator
