Rotating point symbols when rotating data frame?

In my regular map view, all the labels are oriented properly. However, when I rotate the map frame in my layout view, all the labels change accordingly but the boat launch symbols are rotated. How do I fix this?

Answering my own question. Change the "angle alignment" to display instead of map. I spent days trying to figure this out and as soon as I asked the question I figured out how to do it.
