Search bar in Calcite Panel header cuts off suggestions

I have an application built with JS 4.25 and Calcite 1.0.3. I'm trying to get an address search in a Calcite panel header but the suggestions get cut off. (The suggestions are cut off when the rest of the panel is visible and has content in it, too.)

This works fine, though, in a header bar across the whole page in the Calcite Shell:

If you are using version 4.25 of the ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript, we recommend using Calcite version 1.0.0-beta.97.

Calcite releases prior to JavaScript, and the upcoming 4.26 release will support Calcite version 1.0.3.
