Navigation Logo and Navigation User Text Color

Hello,

My application is using Navigation, Navigation-Logo, and Navigation-User at the top of the application for the title, and to show either a login button or report the logged in user.   All that works, now I just want to brand my site and use a dark blue for the header with white text but I can't figure out how to do that.
