When using the Transparency button the Transparency slider, covers the button, when the slider disappears, the place where it covered the button is still the same color as the slider, and the complete button does not show correctly.
Repro:
Select a layer
Click Transparency button
Adjust slider
Let it disappear
view button, lower right corner should show the color of the slider and not the button
