I was disappointed to find that when I attached JPGs and PDFs to a feature class in ArcMap using the new attachments function in ArcGIS 10 - they don't come across if you package up a PMF to use on a separate machine.

Also relationship classes I had set up with tables didn't come through when the PMF was packaged.

Is there a way to get this to work. It isn't particularly an error, but this would be a great functionality to have in a PMF, particularly since it is all stored in the original geodatabase (output Data format was File Geodatabase).

I just read this:

"HTML pop-ups are a useful way to view multiple attachments for a feature at the same time. They work not only in ArcGIS Desktop but also in web applications, ArcGIS Explorer, or ArcReader."

at:

http://www.esri.com/news/arcuser/0311/more-ways-to-organize-information.html

I've not tested but maybe that could work for you?

Although re-reading the article makes me think not - perhaps time for an ArcGIS Idea ...
