I work for a property appraiser's office in Florida and we are currently using ArcReader to display maps that show geographically where different land rates are located. The problem that we are running into is that ArcReader runs very slow on the appraiser's computers when they are trying to print or move to a different area. Does anyone else have this problem with ArcReader? Also, the appraisers are requesting that we create a more Joe public friendly application for them to use where they can search by more then one option at a time. The would also like to be able to see all of the properties they have to visit on one map so that they can plan their visits more efficiently. Ultimately I think we map be moving to a web based application that has interactive mapping and query without any editing abilities. Just looking for some suggestions and to see how others may be handling the same type of requests.
