Hi,

I have a project which was developed by ArcPad builder 7.1. I had used it on ArcPad 6 for long time, and everything is good. But now I updated my ArcPad to ArcPad 8. My project cannot run on ArcPad 8 correctly. Some functions in my project don't work and some buttons cannot work, too. Could you tell me why it doesn't work? What's the difference between the code running on ArcPad 6 and ArcPad 8? Could you give me some websites which introduce the difference? Thank you so much!

Sorry, my project was created by ArcPad Builder 6.

I do not recall the specific reasoning, but I remember our GIS Analyst told me when a few of our custom forms/toolbars went from being built in ArcStudio for version 7.1 and being used in ArcPad 7.1 to trying to use them in ArcPad 8, we had to make changes/edits for them to be compatible and function correctly.

Thank you for your answer, Brett. I will try to use ArcPad studio 8 to modify my program.
