I have been using ArcPad with Trimble Positions to collect and post-process GPS Data.  I now have access to do real time correction with a GNSS network.  I have been trying to get this work for a couple of days now and am not getting anywhere.

Can I even use this with ArcPad?

Real time as in a continuously operating reference station? If this is what you are after, pretty sure you will need the Trimble GPSCorrect extension. Horizontal positions should be ok but vertical positions can be a problem because ArcPad does not use a geoid. Just in case that's where you are headed.

You can certainly use a real-time network with ArcPad and the Trimble Positions extension for ArcPad.  You just need to get into Positions on the handheld and go into the real-time settings.  Probably will have to set your Choice 1 to Internet if you are trying to connect directly from the handheld and then configure the rest with your login information, and that should work.
