ArcGIS Desktop Basic & Trimble Positions

I'm trying to determine whether or not ArcGIS Desktop Basic 10.1 works with the Trimble Positions add-in. My own research has produced conflicting information about this. Based on what I can find, it looks like I can use the Trimble Position Desktop add-in with a 'Basic' Desktop license to post process our GPS data, and that the Trimble Positions extension to ArcPad 10.1 will also work, but not with feature classes from enterprise (SDE) geodatabases. Am I missing something here, or do I have my information correct?

You are correct Brian.  Trimble Positions when working with ArcPad will work fine with a Basic license.  If using Positions with ArcGIS for Windows Mobile, then you really need to have Standard or better... for multiple reasons.  But none of those reasons apply with the ArcPad workflow.
