I recently made the switch from GPS Correct and Analyst to Positions. The former would update an Accuracy field for each new point. I know you can see the Accuracy after correcting the data through the "View Features" button but I'm can't seem to figure out to get this information in my geodatabase.

Hi...

This functionality is available through the GNSS metadata concept which lets the user pick from existing fields in the feature class (data type = double) to store this data.  For the ArcGIS for Windows Mobile workflow, you use the Trimble Positions Mobile Project Center extension to set which fields should be used to store the accuracy and height above ellipsoid values (look for the 'Auto Fill' section of the 'Fields' tab when selecting a layer).  For the ArcPad workflow, this is done during normal project creation, or QuickProject import, in the Trimble Positions Desktop add-in.

If you forget to set these fields prior to data collection, you can do it after-the-fact.  The fields actually won't get populated until you click the 'Update Features' button in the dockable window inside the Trimble Positions Desktop add-in.

Regards,

Matt

When I click to update features to populate the HEA field in the attribute table, my points shift to the south and east about 3 feet.  It seems like a classic transformation issue but have made various setting changes to no avail.  Anyone have any thoughts?  Checking in and checking out is fine on my end.  Thanks!!
