I have a Trimble Nomad with a USB port. I would like to plug a verizon aircard into this port to be able

to obtain an internet connection to perform real time updating with ArcPad or ArcGIS Mobile.

Will this work? Has anyone tried this? Are there driver compatibility issues? I'm researching this for

someone. I do not have access to the Trimble unit yet.

Thanks,

John

I've asked around about trying this and apparently there are driver issues????

I still haven't tested my self.

We are using a Sprint "Over-drive" mobile hot spot for real time correction in the field with a Nomad and the GeoXH, both work well and give us 4' accuracy in the field
