I have a curious situation where users share a Windows XP laptop, laptop has ArcPad 10. Two of the users can open and read (use) the axf file, the other can't. An error message appears the there is an error access the layer in the axf.
I suspect you have a permissions issue. First have the odd man out, edit data using an administrators logon. If it works, the problem is with permissions.
