Many features for one point location

I have had a request to possibly create a form in ArcPad 10 which allows for a one-to-many relationship.

By this, I mean collecting one point with one location and then being able to add as many fauna types observed from that one location, instead of creating a new point feature every time.

The end result would be, once you selected the one point, all the information collected would be associated with that one point.

Hope this makes sense.

Any suggestions?

Alex,

If you create a one-to-many relationship class between a feature class and a geodatabase table before you check the data out for ArcPad, ArcPad will automatically create a table form for you which will allow you to enter records into the related table for each feature in your feature class.  When you edit a feature in ArcPad the related table form will be accessible from the last tab in the edit form.

A few tips:

1. Your geodatabase table must be in the mxd at checkout.
2. Save your mxd.
3. Check out for disconnected editing.

If you aren't checking your data in / out from ArcGIS Desktop and are only using shapefiles in ArcPad this process will be MUCH trickier.
