Can't check in data in ArcGIS 10.1 when using a related table

Has anyone had problems using "Get data from ArcPad" in ArcGIS 10.1 when trying to load data into a geodatabase with a relationship class present? Everything was working for me when I was on ArcGIS 10, but am now getting errors in ArcGIS 10.1.  I'm using a file geodatabase to collect point data with additional attribute data in a related table using a 1-M composite relationship. For some reason on check-in, the data from the table will load, but the data for the point will give an "The index passed was not within the valid range" error. The OID for the point file will also grow to a large size (ie. change from 1 to 406258464). I confirmed the original OID value in ArcPad Studio before check-in. The error will not happen if I remove the relationship class. However, I do need the related table in my collection app, so does anyone have any ideas on how to be able to check in data in ArcGIS 10.1 in this situation? Thanks.
