Hi All,

Note - this follows on from this thread http://forums.esri.com/Thread.asp?c=34&f=2359&t=251392

Does anyone have any ideas how to get data out of my AXF file an into the Geodatabase? The normal check-in process is not working - I get the following error message using the ArcPad Data Manager

The following ArcPad AXF files were skipped:

Did not have any data checked out (data may have already been checked in):
C:\Projects\EA_MSS\EA_MSS_NW_South_Maintenance_Schedules_20100421\MaintenanceSchedule.axf

When the data was checked out we chose the disconnected editing option.

I am able to hack the AXF file to get the Point data (using SQL Management Studio Express) but how can I get the Polyline information?

Hope someone can help.

Thanks in advance,

Chris

Answered my own post!
In ArcPad 10 there is an "Expert" mode which allows the recovery of an AXF file by exporting it to shapefiles. See here for details

Great find!  I appreciate the post.  Very useful when normal work around's don't do the trick.
