Only a limited number of PDA devices such as Trimble Juno and Getac PDA will run Streetmap with ArcPad 8.0. This limitation is overcome in ArcPad 10. We have tested many devices including the Trimble GEO 2008 running large Streetmap datasets.
On a Trimble Geo 2008, ArcPad 10 will now display the Rhode Is sample Streetmap file with 18.5MB free whereas with ArcPad 8.0 there was only 1.4MB free.
