Thanks for helping...  I have  a project that requires entering X,Y locations for two seperate locations into the same attribute record. I have columns for X1,Y1 and X2,Y2.  I can create a quickfield that populates the X1,Y1 when the point is generated, but then I need to have X2,Y2 populate (without creating a spaital point!) at a location along a route. I would like to have an edit button that when clicked, could capture the current X,Y location of the GPS unit, and put those values into the X2, Y2 field. The edit button could call the second quickfield to do this..so the question is, can i somehow either call a second quickfield or anyone have another method/idea???

Thanks again,
Jef

On another note,, I am finding that even when I try and build an expression for populating the X2, Y2 field using Quickfields, it will not recognize the Y2 field...  is Y2 a reserved word???

Thanks,
Jeff
