ArcPad Data Management

What is the best way to manage and sort data for ArcPad. To the best of my ability, it looks as though ArcCatalog does not recognize .axf or .apm. Is there a patch or something for easier data management?

Thank you for letting me know; That is great! We should be upgrading to from 10.2 to 10.5 in the next couple of months. Do you have any suggestions in the meantime?
