When adding a new point file to a blank map and trying to change the point symbology, Arcpad 10 crashes. We are not using multiple fields for symbology, just trying to change the standard symbology.
I would suggest verifying you are working with the latest version of ArcPad both on the desktop/mobile device (10.0.4) if within ArcPad 10. If not I would download the latest from the ESRI Customer Care Portal if working within ArcPad 10. Unless you are on a previous version, then I would download and install the latest and most up to data service pack for that version of ArcPad. After you have installed the latest version for ArcPad, which you are working with, I would see if this occurs on the desktop, since you are seeing this on the device. If you are able to reproduce the issue on the desktop, I would say this was just a bad install. Gracias, Hunter!
