I'm testing ArcPad for on-line editing and synchronization, but I've a problem adding data from server. I connect to the URL and I see that the service I created is visible, but when I select it and click OK, the dialog box disappears and nothing happens: ArcPad doesn't add any layer and there isn't an error pop-up, nor any log created. I verified the arcpadpublications directory as suggested here: http://forums.arcgis.com/threads/52794-ArcPad-Service-visible-in-ArcMap-but-not-ArcPad and in my case, I have a DataforArcPad folder but it is empty (any .zip and .cab files).
What does it mean? Do you have any suggestions?
I work with:
- ArcGIS Desktop 9.3.1 + ArcPad 10 (on the machine I use to check-out data) - ArcPad 10 (on the Tablet-PC I use to view, edit and synchronize data)
And, on the server:
- ArcSDE 9.3.1 - ArcGIS Server 9.3.1 Advanced Enterprise Edition - ArcGIS Server ArcPad Extension 8.0 Service Pack 1
