I am using ArcPad 10.0 on a Geneq SXPad.  I have a simple map with one point and one polyline layer.  When the GPS is active, I can add points.  I cannot stream vertices to the polyline layer because the tool is greyed out.  I have made the polyline layer editable.  I have even created a new polyline shapefile and quickform in ArcPad, added it to the map and it cannot be added to either.  I've run out of checkboxes to toggle and ideas.  Has anyone else encountered this problem?  Thanks.

Please try collecting the initial vertex of your line using the Capture Vertex Tool.

Once your starting point has been collected - turn on the Streaming GPS Tool to collect the remainder of your line feature.

NOTE: Ensure that your line feature has been selected for editing in the Edit Menu before capturing any vertices.
