I am trying to solve an issue for one of my customers. We have a legacy desktop application VB.NET that is only getting bug fixes & ArcGIS Engine Runtime updates at the current time. In our 1.01 version they are receiving an error when they perform an address search for the first time. All subsequent searches work correctly. The full error is below. The only references I can find to the specific error are for ArcMap & ArcCatalog, but this machine has neither. It only has our software installed on it right now.
I have tried to repair the Engine Runtime, reinstall the Engine Runtime, repair all the Visual C++ runtimes, run sfc.exe /scannow to see if it detects anything, use procmon to see if it comes up with anything and so far I have not come up with a solution. Any suggestions on what to try next?
