Symbology rotation by field; not in ArcGIS Engine 10.1?

Hello, has anybody run into an issue where symbology
rotation by field, is not carrying over to a laptop running ArcGIS Engine 10.1, SP1?

Field is Double, Rotation is Arithmetic.

It is happening to all features in the MXD.
Works fine on desktop. Laptop is a GD 6000 running Windows XP. Mapping program
is TC Mapbook. Thanks

We've fixed the problem with non-rotating symbols in Engine.

If you install Engine without Python symbol rotation by field won't rotate.

If you do a complete install which includes Python, symbol rotation by field works.

Just thought I'd pass on our finding in case someone else run across this.
