I am trying to assign a picture as symbol to point layer. I am using Ipicturemarkersymbol.CreateMarkerSymbolFromFile for this purpose. When I try to use bitmap of size greater than 16x16 code fails with "Additional Information: Value does not fall within the expected range." . This link http://forums.esri.com/Thread.asp?c=159&f=1707&t=219565&mc=3#msgid664662 does gives idea that CreateMarkerSymbolFromFile requires bitmap of 16x16 only. How can add bitmap of bigger size? IElement is ruled out part which is on of the option I think but I am searching for solution using Ipicturemarkersymbol. CAn anyone please help?
